Classic Stripes and The Green Tennis Skirt

If there’s one type of clothing item that I wish I could have more of, it would be skirts. I don’t normally buy skirts/shorts/pants online because their fit is relatively harder to determine but when I saw this bright green A-line number on asos, I added it to my shopping basket straightaway. I was motivated to buy the skirt for a couple of reasons. Firstly, the green colour was so bold and vibrant and it just made me happy! Secondly, its reasonable price tag was too hard for me to resist. From personal experiences, online purchases could be hit or miss sometimes but I was quite willing to gamble on this skirt since it looked rather fabulous on their video.

I’m glad that the skirt hasn’t disappointed me. Its workmanship was beyond my expectation so that automatically made me a happy camper! The material was rather thick and stiff and therefore gave a nice structure to the skirt. I’m not sure about you but I had the urge to pretend to play tennis in this make believe tennis skirt…

I paired the skirt with a striped top because I felt that the top would not detract the attention from the skirt which was the foundation of my outfit besides giving the look a little ”French flair”. How would you pair the skirt with if you were me?

Have a fab Monday all!
