Jogging Down the Memory Lane of Cut Out Shoulders and Laced Oxfords

Would you call yourself an introvert or extrovert? I think I’m somewhere in between but today I’m happily calling myself an introvert because all I want to do is to bum around the house doing indoor activities ie surf the internet, read a book, watch Youtube videos and take a long nap.

Before I proceed to do all of that, I’d like to share with you an outfit that I put together for my friends’ wonderful pizza party. It was one of those ensembles that screamed ‘nostalgia’ because I was wearing the cut out shoulder shirt and oxfords that I had once loved so much but abandoned. I’m slowly rediscovering their beauty once again and hopefully they would make more appearances in the future!

I don’t think I was in the best of mood that day so please pardon the relatively sour face!

As much as I like to add new items to my already bulging wardrobe, older pieces tend to give me different perspectives in the way I put outfits together.

Ah, what a beautiful sunny Thursday! I’m tempted to break out in Bobby McFerrin’s hit song ” don’t worry, be happy”…
