Orange

Last week was the first of many weeks that I broke my twice weekly posting schedule due to personal commitment. As much as I love sharing my outfits or ideas here on a timely manner, it felt really good to be able to take a breather from this side of my life and focus on things that are more important in life. I can foresee that updates are likely to become a little sparser over the next few weeks with Mr M’s work trip + our holiday just around the corner. I hope to get a fresh coat of inspiration as I immerse myself in different views, cultures, languages and faces in a few weeks’ time.

My liking for orange is on the rise recently and you could probably imagine how grateful I was to have received the buttery soft tote from Club Monaco and the scarf from mom. Having orange coloured accessories is a great way to introduce the vibrant colour to the wardrobe especially for someone who seldom wears bright colours. The rest of the outfit comprised of some of my most worn basic pieces that could be mixed and matched with most things  in my wardrobe. I’m actually thinking of packing this outfit for the holiday!
