Ohai people! Sorry for ignoring you but I had sand in my eyes! What have you been up to? Hope it’s been a smashing Thursday so far! I’m so pleased that you could join me on my tour to Muzeinberg, a surfers’ beach in Cape Town. I have to admit that my crop denim jacket (also seen here) wasn’t very good at shielding me from windchill unfortunately so walking along this deserted beach didn’t feel as glamorous/pleasant as it should be. Everything on my body that could flap was flapping uncontrollably. That was how strong the wind was. There I was, shivering like crazy in my 2 layers while a bunch of little people were taking turns to take on the waterslides right next to the beach without blinking an eye. Where is the logic in that?! Anyway. The top that I was wearing was from a South African brand called urban° and it was everything I wanted for something basic. I was completely sold by the lovely knitted material and the slight dipped hem. FYI, urban° offers a relatively affordable range of relaxed, casual styles for both men and women who like understated chic and ALL their clothes have a distinctive urban° scent. How clever of them. I wore my high-waisted faux leather skirt from AA which I love to highlight the different textures and put on my trusty leggings to give extra warmth. Are you for or against leggings? Personally I love them as long as they are worn the modest way i.e. worn with something that’s long enough to cover all unsightly bits.
Cute changing huts that reminded me so much of the Mornington Peninsula in Melbie.
A little bit of goof never hurts.
Sincere apologies if my sleepy face made you yawn. I think the wind just zapped all the energy (and concentration) out of me, which kinda explains why I lost in the putt putt golf game afterwards (I like making valid excuses).
Thanks for stopping by!

ps. Mr M told me yesterday that if he were to start a personal style blog and had to write about why he was wearing whatever that he was wearing, he would probably say that because the clothes were clean and that the socks didn’t have holes in them.
Umm, I think someone needs some serious a little bit of help.
